Character traits are the enduring qualities and attributes that shape how individuals think, feel, and behave. One widely recognized framework for character traits is the OCEAN model, also known as the Big Five personality traits. It includes Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism—each representing a spectrum of behavior and emotional tendencies. This model provides a comprehensive and research-based way to explore personality, helping individuals gain insight into themselves and others.
